Having music work the way you want it to to can be a limiting factor in what music you might want to use for your event, but not if it is professionally edited, remixed or reproduced.
Motiv Entertainment can take a song or songs of your choice and alter them according to your specific requirements. How this can be used for your wedding or other event can include:
o Seamlessly extending or cutting short songs songs so that they're just the right length for a particular aspect of your event - for instance, your first dance at your wedding;
o Redrum/Remix: Redrumming or remixing is the process of taking a song and either laying over a drum beat, sound effect to create a newer, usually more uptempo rhythm and sound. Great for those times when you want a single song to suddenly change tempo and perhaps back again;
o Mash-Up: A mash-up is a form of remix, but it involves combining 2 or more songs - usually the vocal from one song over the instrumental of another. Mash-up's have been made famous by Glee, worth googling or there is a sample below.
o Mini-Mixtape/Evolution of Dance: The mini-mixtape can entail putting together several songs into a tempo seamless mix. The number of songs that can be incorporated are limitless and you can have everything from a 10second snippet to playing out the entire song before a change.
The remixing component of our service grew out of a need to produce DJ ready music from newly released songs, in a way that moves as fast as songs currently appear on the charts. This has proven to be the fastest way to keep up with the charts and maintain DJ ready versions regardless of the event.
