So what exactly can you get from Motiv Entertainment? This is a list of equipment and gear that I own/use for various aspects. Some of it may not mean a lot, but you are welcome to look up the quality of the equipment via google. This is professional grade equipment.
For the most part I own all my own gear - lights, speakers, microphones, etc. This means that I am able to offer huge reductions in cost compared to other options because I don't have to hire equipment. On the rare occassion I may need to hire additional equipment for special circumstances, but I do this at cost to the clients and don't add a surcharge on top - an example might be an outdoor wedding ceremony with no access to a power source.

Geek Speak for DJs:
The QSC K series (K12) speakers that I use for most events are top of the line powered loudspeakers and arguably the best available speakers. When selecting speakers I looked at appearance, sound quality, overall volume and weight. Many DJs in NZ use the Bose L1 Model I/II system and understandably because the sound quality is stunning and the apperance hard to beat. What I did find about the Bose L1 though was that even with Bass Modules the sound was a bit thin on the lower range - which for some of the events I play just isn't good enough.
This is why I chose the QSC K series speakers because they have some of the same qualities of the Bose L1 but with some additional components which work well for the various events and gigs that I play.
